It does not have the resistance of a mature skin. Smitten Essence Baby Skincare Products have been specially formulated for babies and children’s delicate skin. Our ingredients have been chosen based on their gentle and beneficial properties using natural, botanical derived and certified organic ingredients. All our baby range products are paraben and sls free. They contain no artificial colourings, synthetic preservatives, fragrances or ingredients that can cause irritation or dryness. They are free from animal testing. Babies learn to associate a smell with love, warmth and comfort. Our baby products do not use artificial synthetic fragrances which can irritate young skin rather they are enriched with pure, natural essential oils which have been specifically chosen for their soothing and calming properties.

Bath Time with Smitten Baby Products

There are many baby shampoos and body washes out there which contain too may additives and chemicals to be safe for your baby’s delicate skin. At Smitten we have specifically formulated Teddies Friends a SLS and paraben free shampoo and body wash. It is free from artificial colour, preservatives and fragrances and we have chosen natural ingredients which are gentle on the skin and hair cleansing and moisturising without harsh chemicals. It is enriched with lavender and chamomile both well known for their calming soothing properties, very gentle nature, absence of toxicity and gently inducing sleep.

Babies and young children respond well to massage. Baby massage is a lovely way to bond with your baby. Studies show that babies who receive regular massage are healthier, sleep better and have less anxiety than babies who are not massaged at all. Cleanse baby’s bottom using Swinging on a Star Nappy Wipes Solution, follow with Innocence Baby’s Nappy Cream and then apply Powder Puff Baby Powder by puffing over entire body or to soothe and refresh the nappy area. Teddies Friends is a gentle skin friendly body wash and shampoo suitable for babies, children and sensitive skin. It is exceptionally mild moisturising wash that does not cause irritation or dryness making it ideal for baby’s sensitive skin. As a shampoo it helps keep hair soft, aids in retention of natural oils and moisture and assists in detangling.
